Wedding Guide

What's Included: 
All packages include, in addition to your chosen menu, the following:
• Five hours of exclusive use of the Ballroom, Tavern, and Porch. 
• Bartenders.
• Function Coordinator/Hostess.
• Set-up of your individualized floor plan (tables, chairs, etc.).
• A Champagne toast for the Bridal Party.
• Your choice of linens and napkins.
• Votive candles for tables (optional).
• Mirrors for centerpieces (optional).
• Table numbers.
• Table skirting.
• Locations for outdoor (and indoor) photography.
• Taste testing for up to 4 people.
Reception Schedule
Should you wish to extend your reception for longer than 5 hours, overtime is occasionally available (depending on time and day of the week). The cost of overtime is $300.00 per hour.  The Function Office should be contacted in advance of the reception date if you need more information on overtime and availability.

Stow Acres operates at a minimum guest count of 75-130 depending on the date and time of the event.  Please inquire.

Reserving a Date

A $1000.00 deposit is required to secure a date. Dates can be held without a deposit for five days, provided there are no other inquiries. The deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.

Bar Service
Open bar: You are billed for the drinks consumed by your guests plus a gratuity. A per person deposit ($10/person for 1 hour, $15/person for entire reception) is taken in advance and the remaining balance is paid the day of your function or a refund will be processed the following week in the office if the entire deposit is not used.  You can offer an open bar for all beverages, or you can offer complimentary soft drinks, with all other offerings available for cash purchase. You can also offer an open bar during the cocktail hour and have your guests pay for all beverages thereafter.

Cash bar: Your guests are asked to pay the server when the drinks are delivered. You are not responsible for any gratuities on cash bar service.

Wedding Ceremonies

It is possible to have your wedding ceremony at Stow Acres Country Club. The ceremony is set up in the main function room in a chapel style and we can accommodate up to 250 guests. Our outdoor patio area can seat up to 150 for ceremonies.  We can provide a skirted banquet table to be used as an "altar", and you can bring any additional items you might need. Additionally, we offer the use of our archway, which can be decorated by your florist to enhance the ceremony area.  Rehersals are available and can be scheduled with your event manager one month prior to your reception.
