Wedding Guide

The Basics

All packages include, in addition to your chosen menu, the following:

  • Five hours of exclusive use of the Ballroom, Tavern, and Porch. There is no room rental fee for wedding receptions.
  • Bartenders
  • Function Coordinator/Hostess
  • Set-up of your individualized floor plan (tables, chairs, etc.)
  • A Champagne toast for the Bridal Party
  • A fresh floral centerpiece for the Head Table, in any color
  • Your choice of linens and napkins
  • Votive candles for tables (optional)
  • Mirrors for centerpieces (optional)
  • Lace table overlays (optional)
  • Table numbers
  • Table skirting
  • Locations for outdoor (and indoor) photography

Reception Schedule

Reception times run as follows:

  • Saturdays, March 15-Dec. 31: 12pm-5pm or 7pm-12am
  • Sundays, Fridays, and all other Saturdays (1/1 to 3/14): Any five hours.

Overtime is occasionally available (depending on time and day of the week). The cost for overtime is $300.00 per hour.  The Function Office should be contacted  in advance of the reception date if you need more information on overtime and availability.

Stow Acres operates at a minimum guest count of 100 (130 for peak Saturday evenings).  It's a good idea to keep this in mind when planning your reception.
